About Me

I’m Gareth O. Evans. I’m a Welsh IT Geek living in Chester, married to the very beautiful Suzanne Evans, I’m an IT Consultant by day and fixer/breaker/coder of things by night.

I’m originally from Anglesey in North Wales and a fluent Welsh speaker.

I have a Foundation Degree and Bachelor of Science Degree from the NEWI / Glyndwr University in Computer Networks which I gained in October 2006, October 2007 respectively. Hence the FdSc and BSc

I was also one of the original founders of NEWI Computing Society and was President of the Society for two years.

I have a ton of computer/network hardware, some old, some new but mostly off ebay So far I haven’t had any complaints from the wife about them all!

My other interests include course fishing (lakes, canals and rivers)
and railways (models, mainline and preserved) and active member of MatchFishing-Scene and the Western Peak Group (46010)
